Penn built and designed the Clash II for the inshore angler, whether you be from shore, boat, kayak, etc. It is constructed with a full metal body and side plate, and internally the reel features Penn’s proprietary CNC technology along with HT-100 carbon fiber drag system. This makes the Clash II very strong both internally and externally, allowing it to be a phenomenal reel for light tackle species such as fluke, stripers, bluefish, snook, redfish, and many other species many anglers love.

A Hydrophobic Line Roller Bearing along with a clutch armor sleeve provides for the protection of critical components and assist with further protection from saltwater environments, which is what this reel is designed to be used in. Penn’s Leveline Slow Oscillation System puts the finishing touches on the reel with perfect line lay, making it cast like a dream in both distance and reducing wind knots.
